Hygge Cozy Book Challenge 2024

Now is the perfect time to Hygge, a Danish concept that means enjoying a warm atmosphere and the good things in life with friends and family. The peaceful glow of candlelight and reading by the fire is hygge. Cozying up with a loved one for movie night – that’s also hygge.

Pick up a bingo card at the Library starting January 29th, complete a bingo, then return the card by April 29th to win a prize!

Community One Read

Read Douglas Tallamy’s book, Nature’s Best Hope, then join us for the Community One Read Chili Supper and Book Discussion:

  • 4:30pm – Local native plant information
  • 5:00pm – Presentation by Badger Talks speaker Susan Carpenter, curator of the native plant garden at the UW–Madison Arboretum; Gardening with Native Plants
  • 6:00pm – Chili supper and discussion

Puzzle Exchange

Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle! Stop in and stock up on some puzzles, a great way to entertain yourself when the weather keeps you inside!

If you don’t have a puzzle to exchange, no worries – just take one and bring it back when you’re done.
